Collections-Individual configurations within a screening profile, each containing its own AML sources and fuzziness levels. There can be multiple collections within a single screening configuration.
Risk model-The configurable model used to calculate the risk score and subsequent risk level of your customers based on chosen attributes, such as country of residence or PEP status. Additional weighting can be applied to some or all of those attributes.
Customer identifierSearch referenceThe ComplyAdvantage generated identifier that uniquely identifies the search/customer.
External identifierUnique client referenceThe Client provided identifier that uniquely identifies the search/customer.
Onboarding workflowSearchThe initial process for onboarding and screening a customer.
CustomerCustomerA customer in the current solution can be a person, organization, company, vessel or aircraft. A customer in ComplyAdvantage Mesh can be a person or company.
Product-A service that a client supplies to their customer. For example, a bank account or mortgage.
CaseCaseStores essential details about a particular customer, alerts, any notes written by your users, and a record of all activities and changes made to the case.
Monitoring caseMonitor hitA case is created in ComplyAdvantage Mesh when a new profile is found for a monitored customer.
Risk score and Risk level-Your customers can be assigned a risk score and a subsequent risk level via your configurable risk model. The risk score is a number that quantifies the risk level, while the risk level is a way to explain and summarise the score. The risk level categories are 'Unknown', 'Low', 'Medium', 'High', and 'Prohibited'.
Alerts-A signal that something suspicious was found, either during the initial screening or as a result of monitoring the customer over time. It collects relevant information together and is presented in a case for review.
ProfileEntityAn entity/profile is a collection of information about a person or company. It includes their identifying details (name, date of birth, incorporation date, etc.), and associations with other individuals or companies. It also includes information on adverse media hits and whether they feature on, any sanctions, warnings, or PEP lists.
Risks-These represent risks identified as part of the AML process. In the case of screening and monitoring, a risk represents a profile hit.
Alert mutingWhitelistingProfiles marked as false positive can be muted to prevent any updates for the selected profile from triggering a monitoring alert. This reduces the alert rate from monitoring customers by removing alerts that aren't about your customer.
